Gem Mahjong

Gem Mahjong

How to Play

Gem Mahjong takes the familiar mahjong solitaire idea and replaces the classic symbols with sparkling gems. Tiles are stacked in layers, and a tile can only be picked when nothing sits on top of it. Choose two free tiles showing the same gem and they leave the board. Every tile you take passes through a tray at the bottom of the screen, and if that tray fills up before you find matches, the level is over. That small rule changes the pace: rather than grabbing the first pair you see, it pays to scan the whole stack and clear tiles that uncover others. A timer keeps some pressure on, and the power-ups beneath the tray help when the board turns against you. The gem designs are easy to tell apart, which keeps the focus on planning rather than squinting at symbols.

Controls

Tap or click two free tiles showing the same gem to remove them. A tile is free when nothing covers it. Use the power-ups below the tray when you get stuck.

Tips

  1. Favor pairs that sit on top of other tiles, since removing them opens more choices.
  2. Keep an eye on the tray and stop to plan when it is more than half full.
  3. Save power-ups for the final layers, where free tiles are hardest to find.
