How to Play

Openworld Racing is a relaxed driving game that drops you into a large open map with the freedom to go anywhere at your own pace. Pick one of three cars and simply head off wherever you like, along city streets, out onto open roads or across rougher ground. A day and night cycle slowly changes the lighting as you drive, so the same route can look quite different later on, and switching on the headlights helps once darkness falls. You can swap between the cars at any time to feel how differently they handle, and a choice of camera views lets you drive from whichever angle suits you best. It suits players who prefer cruising and exploring to competing, and it makes a calm break from more intense racing games when you simply want to drive and enjoy the scenery.

Controls

On a computer, use WASD to drive. On mobile, tap the arrow icons to move, the brake icon to stop, the headlight icon to toggle the front lights and the camera icon to change perspective. More controls are shown in the top-left corner of the game.

Tips

1. Try each of the three cars on the same road to compare their handling.
2. Turn on the headlights as soon as the evening light starts to fade.
3. Switch camera views in tight streets to judge corners better.
