How to Play

9 Ball Pool 3D is a polished take on one of the classic cue sports. In nine-ball, the cue ball must always strike the lowest-numbered ball on the table first, and the frame is won by legally potting the nine. That rule makes every shot a small puzzle: you need to hit the right ball and, ideally, leave the cue ball in a good spot for the next one. Line up your aim, lock it in, then stop the rising power meter at the strength you want. Gentle shots give fine control, while firmer ones help when balls are spread far apart. Several modes are available, from matches against computer opponents and a three-round championship to a race against the clock and a practice room for honing technique. Two camera views, daily rewards and club coins round out the package.

Controls

Move the mouse to aim your cue. Left click once to lock your aim and start the power meter, then click again to shoot. On mobile, drag to aim, tap once to lock and tap again to shoot.

Tips

1. Think about where the cue ball will stop, not just the ball you are potting.
2. Use softer shots when the next ball is close by.
3. Practice in the training room before entering the championship.
