How to Play

Physics Sandbox is a pixel playground where the fun comes from experimenting rather than following rules. Pick a material from the panel and draw it straight onto the canvas, then watch how it behaves. Sand and other powders pour and pile up, liquids spread out and fill hollows, lava creeps slowly across the scene, gases spread through the air and solid shapes can be split apart. Mixing materials leads to surprising results, and building little scenes to see what happens next can easily fill an afternoon. It is completely open-ended, with the freedom to create, destroy and try again as often as you like. Custom materials add even more possibilities for curious players. It is a relaxing, creative toy for anyone who enjoys tinkering with physics and watching simple ideas turn into unexpected chain reactions.

Controls
