How to Play
Dig to the Weirdest World is a relaxed mining adventure about drilling deeper and deeper beneath the surface. You steer a drill through the ground, uncovering strange and valuable discoveries, then sell your cargo for coins that pay for more power, more energy and more storage space. Every upgrade lets you push a little further before heading back. Eight drilling rigs can be unlocked, and special abilities such as a shockwave, a turbo boost and a scanner help you break through tough layers and track down the best finds. The underground holds twenty-nine different worlds, including glittering crystal caverns, forests of oversized fungi, lava fields and mysterious lost places, along with twenty-five quests and hundreds of discoveries to collect. The ultimate goal is a staggering depth of 170,000 meters, and progress is saved as you go.
Controls
Steer and dig with WASD or the arrows, and press Space to auto-dig. E opens upgrades, and Q, T and R use the shockwave, turbo and scanner once unlocked. Esc pauses. Click Sell Cargo to earn coins. On mobile, use the direction pad and tap the dig, sell, upgrade and ability buttons.
Tips
- Upgrade storage early so each dive brings back more cargo.
- Use the scanner before digging blind into a new layer.
- Follow the quests, since they point you toward useful discoveries.
